OmniStack 6200

The Alcatel-Lucent OmniStack 6200 (OS6200) is a new family of 10/100 L2+ Ethernet workgroup switches that offer tremendous value to the enterprise and to multiple service operators (MSOs). This new family offers a complete solution right out-of-the-box with built-in miniGBIC and copper Gigabit uplinks, fault-tolerant dedicated stacking using standard Ethernet cabling, and Power over Ethernet. OS6200 models include 24- and 48- port versions with PoE derivatives, a space saving design, innovative and cost effective 1:1 backup chassis and PoE power, and a feature set that is capable of supporting converged applications and emerging security solutions.
